Hi, my name is Carol and I am the proprietor of Chromium Bookkeeping. I chose to work for myself after several years of working for others and wanted to be able to use my own knowledge and experience to help many small businesses. Credit control is my passion, as I love to build relationships between clients and their customers, and believe this is the way to get the best out of people.

I have worked for both large FTSE 100 companies and small local businesses, so have experience of the differences and how things can change in an instant.

I have worked within finance for over 15 years, including 12 years in credit control roles, carrying out payroll, reconciliations, and payment queries. I also have a level 3 diploma with Association of Accounting Technicians and continue to study, as I am always looking to expand my knowledge.

I am the treasurer of Peterborough Lions Club, of Lions Clubs International, a voluntary charity organisation.
